Kafue River, Zambia
Riverside camping & day visits, about an hour from Lusaka, with shaded lawns, private fire pits, and a clear view of the water.
Why Guests Love It
Grassy banks and a clear view of the Kafue River from almost every spot.
Big old trees keep the grounds cool, even in the heat of the day.
No crowds and no noise, just the river, the birds, and the wind in the trees.
Far enough from town for proper dark skies and real stargazing at night.
Open for picnics, BBQs, and small events, not just overnight camping.

The Farm
Riverview Farm sits on a quiet stretch of the Kafue River, where the grass stays green, the trees offer plenty of shade, and the pace of life slows right down. It's a family-run spot, kept simple on purpose, where you can pitch a tent, light a fire, and watch the river go by.
Whether you're here for one night or just an afternoon, our aim is the same: a peaceful, well-kept space by the water, and a warm welcome when you arrive.
Facilities
3 sheltered camping spots, each with a roofed, open-sided shelter, table & chairs.
Braai facilities at every site. Charcoal available on-site, K20/bag.
Flush toilets and two shower blocks, kept clean and close to the camping area.
Shaded, grassy grounds with big trees along the riverbank.
A peaceful setting, away from the noise and great for stargazing at night.
What Guests Say
Riverview Farm completely exceeded our expectations. The Kafue River stretches out right in front of you, and the lawns are beautifully kept, green and spacious enough to feel comfortable whether you're a big group or just a couple of people. We watched the sunset melt into a sky full of stars and honestly didn't want to leave the next morning. Natalie is warm, friendly, and incredibly helpful, always going out of her way to make sure you're comfortable. A wonderful place with an even more wonderful host.

Loved the reception by Natalie. Polite and friendly, and the view is refreshing.
β G.M.
The people here were very friendly, and we camped in the garden right on the river bank, which was very beautiful. Good value for a one night stop.
